Donations are usually processed and linked to your account automatically within one minute — there's
nothing more you need to do.
You’ll receive a confirmation email with a login link, which you can use if you’re ever logged out of
your account.
If you no longer have your payment confirmation, you can use the form below to login again.
How exactly does the Account system work?
Your account has 2 components:
If you choose to pay for more compute quota, your balance will be linked to the email that was provided during the payment process.
By clicking the link in the payment confirmation email or by using a verification email you prove ownership of your email address.
This will link your Client ID to your email and allows you to use your balance.
During your first payment, your email will automatically be connected to your Client ID, and you can start using your balance right away!
What happens if I clear my browser cookies?
In the servers database there exists an entry that contains <balance, email, client id>. If you clear your cookies, your browser will forget your Client ID.
When you visit the site the next time, a new random key is generated for you. But on the server your email will still be linked to the old Client ID.
This is why the login form exists. You can simply request a new verification email or click the link from the payment confirmation email to tell the server about your new Client ID.
Can I use my balance on multiple devices?
Yes:
1: Request a verification email from the device you are currently using.
2: Use your second device to click the verification link in the email.
Does my balance expire?
No.
My balance is negative???
This is normal. If a request costs 0.02€, but you only have 0.01 balance left, the request will still be processed and your account will show -0.01.
You do not need to worry about negative balance, you do not need to pay back.
What if I accidentally enter a wrong email during payment?
Even with a typo, you will stay logged in on your current device and can use the balance immediately.
However, since you don't own the 'typo' email, you won't be able to log in from a different device later.
If this happens, contact me and I’ll move the balance to your real address.
